Whether to service DB9 or not
Discussion
Car is due a service-6 yr service. It's done 33k miles now and only about 4k since its last service.
Car has had all its services done at Aston Martin and until recently was under warranty. I didn't bother to renew the warranty after reading the reviews/advice on here.
Now question is this: I want to sell the car and so should I try sell it without the service or should I get it serviced first and then try to sell. If the latter, will the price be greatly reduced if I went to a specialist for the service (like DMS) or should I stick to main dealers. The price difference between DMS and main dealers is approx £400.
Thank you for reading this.

I looked at loads of DB9's before buying one last week. One high on my list was due a service but as the service cost was unknown I wouldnt buy it until it was serviced. The owner seem reluctant to have it service and that certainly put me off buying it.
My point exactly, I'd have asked for a deposit against agreeing to a service. The use of main dealer vs indie may then crops up.
Mine is up for sale (DB9 Volante) and I have it booked in for service (and MOT) next week with Rick...and I will get it serviced whether I have a buyer or not.
The car needs a service and to me that's the most important thing. I take the point about it being a negotiation point however it doesn't seem fair on the car somehow (IYKWIM)

Sorry - just my humour at how ridiculous internet acronyms are.
I hadn't realized ISYP was even listed, but thought I would add my own acronym that may get adopted in the future if anyone unravels it.
On topic. I would service the car and enjoy it - it could take months to sell and many prospective customers will be put off if the stamp is overdue.
