MOT Recommendation in SE London

Title kind of says it all, I guess

Can anybody recommend a good MOT'er in central / SE London. I live near Tower Bridge, so somewhere I can drop off and while-U-wait before work would be ideal (outside of CC Zone!)

Don't wish to seem unhelpful but why do you need a recommendation for an MOT station.......it's not as if they are doing any work on your car......they are just testing it on behalf of the government.....goggle it

Rather than a general google, try this site http://www.goodgaragescheme.co.uk/ and enter the postcode. I used it to find a very helpful one-man band near me who gets all my MOTs (a lot!) and minor (non-Aston) work now.

Michael - fair point. In my defence, I've never had a car MOTd before, having not lived in the UK for the past eight years and the two cars I owned before moving overseas were less then 3 years old. I know it's a very standardised test, but thought it may be helpful if someone knew the cars so they could do any minor remedial work there and then to ensure it passes. Anyway, thanks.

I never take my car to an MOT station were they can do "remedial" work as they always seem to find something wrong with it.....bit like having your car MOT'd at a main dealer.....only fools or rich people do that

Take it to a "while you wait" drive in MOT station
