Anyone know of any good Mk1s on the market?
Discussion
Once my Focus has it's MOT sorted tomorrow I'm going to put it up for sale so that I can get my hands on a Mk1 MX5. I'm looking at spending no more than about £1500 and was just wondering whether any of you lot know of any half-decent examples that might be on the market or just for sale 'on the down low' as it were. I know that there are hundreds in the classifieds and on eBay, but it's always nice to know that your car can be vouched for, right?
Thanks in advance!

Same for me really, I have 4 years NCB and was only paying £620 and that was on Directline!

Well I called round - FJ and REIS were a no-go, Flux were ridiculous but I was quoted £1574 by Sky (pretty much the same as Elephant quoted me) BUT they don't differentiate between MX-5s and Eunos-es (Euni?). Win.
Though when I called them back and asked them to send me the quote, I was asked whether I'd told them I was a Nutz member; I said no, I wasn't asked (they did ask me where I heard about them, but I answered rightly - years ago from an MG forum!) but because I didn't tell them on the first phone call, I don't get the 20% discount?! That would have taken it down to a very palatable £1259! I'll see what I can do...
Just need to get this Focus sold and all will be well; it's going in for it's MOT tomorrow then it will be on the market. Let me know if you know of anyone who might be after one - it's the car in my profile. Asking £1500, will probably accept a bit less...
