Im expecting it to be cold, its england and its winter.. who cares for a bit of snow here and there.

that said its pretty chilly now, looking at the heating switch but cant bring myself to turn it on.

We're on domestic heating oil which costs £400 squillion a second to heat our home....so water is in currently (hour in the morning and hour in evening) but I am determined to leave it as late as possible before I cave in and put the hearting switch on too. usually october.

Have plenty of logs, kindling and coal stocked up for the open fires too
