As most standard and especially most modern standard cars are all a bit lacking in the vocal department, who here runs a beefier sounding aftermarket exhaust on their car(s)?

Same here! Also replaced it to release 50-60 more horses with the aid of a re-map too.............noise probably was the first reason though, it just didn't sound like it should when i got it!

Can you add "yes but it sounds hideous, I only have it as the standard system is so restrictive"

Hand made, beautifully put together 1 3/4 " tubular manifolds, 100 cell cats, and a 2.5" exhaust (with x-pipe), in T304 stainless steel. Thankyou very much, AAS of Newcastle. biggrin

Mine isn't that loud but I didn't want a 3" exit so went with the standard looking stealth option... because no one can see a 3" stainless tip they think my exhaust has fallen off!

What about after-market exhausts that reduce your noise so you don't keep getting black-flagged on a trackday smile

Cheers 300BHP.

I've had the custom approach to all my cars... So the MG ZR and 200SX both had:

> custom manifold
> custom down pipe
> free-flow cat
> custom mid-section
> custom back box

All by EXHAUSTSUK of Sheffield, they also did my dads W123 Merc 280CE. Complete system, nigh on stock, but gruntier.

They'll get the snotter to play with AND the Austin 1300 next year cool

For my normal road car, i actually like the fact it makes no noise at all! (you can really behave quite badly indeed if you do it quietly these days ;-)

For my track car, well, as you can't actually buy an exhaust for a rwd longitudinal engined Seat Ibiza, well, a custon one is the only option.........

Indeed.

200SX that made lots of noise, you had to be careful.

E36 with standard systems, laugh not so much wink

Which cost? If you don't mind answering of course.
