Well, there are 400 seconds in 8 minutes, in the same way there are 400 seconds in 3 hours. He didn't say there wouldn't be some remainder seconds, did he?

I think he was getting confused. AML limited the run to 240 Roadsters and 240 Coupes, to equal the 480 seconds in the 8 minutes lap time.
