What Species of Caterpillar is this?

As the title really which species of caterpillar is this in the picture.

For a bit more info the picture was taken in the lake district at the end of August/start of September. The area was general lake district wilderness.

Any ideas?

Nice hairy beast you have there. Fairly sure it's a Fox moth caterpillar (Macrothylacia rubi)
