Which Tyres ? Summer, winter or all season ? 215/45/17

Currently stuck on the horns of a dilemma.
It's new tyres time for my car, they are almost illegal, and I cannot decide between another pair of summer boots, or some all season tyres, or some proper winter tyres.
I want quality, but not premium price.
My top favourites at the moment are below, although I know nothing about all season tyres...
Summer : Falken FK452 ( 64£ approx )
All Season : Federal WS-1 ( 72£ approx )
Winter : Falken HS-439 ( 93 £ approx )
Last year I ran Continental Sport 3's in the summer and Pirelli Sotto Zero for the Winter. This worked well but is very expensive ( 170 pounds each for the tyres, so working out at over 700 pounds for a set with fitting.......)
