The installation is interesting to say the least - the performance appears quite fruity too smile

I'm always a bit suspicious when tuning companies make such massive improvements on already highly tuned cars. If getting "1000+whp" out of the Audi V10 just needed two turbos then why didn't Audi do it?

And what have they done the the transmission?

Two words, one of which is Bugatti, and the other one which is Veyron.

is the v10 that highly stressed to start with though? the standard engine is pushing out just under 100bhp/litre. an extra bit ontop of that seems reasonable. The r8 has to be build for heat buildup etc of continual use, but this is probably just set up to do a run or 2 then let to cool down

Another two words... reliability and cost wink

I don't think conflicting sales was the reason they didn't do it, the Bugatti needed a slightly larger engine, more turbos, a more complicated transmission and it cost a few quid more.

One more; emissions.
