As a few of you know i've been doing a full re build on my Griff incl an LS3 transplant, as with most car project i've gone way over budget and the weeks have turned into months etc, i'd hoped to get the car back by May which then became July, that came and passed along with the Growl in August, but all was not lost i was sure it would be ready for Spa in October! Unfortunately do to unforseen circumstances the car is just short of being ready so figured i'd have to bite the bullet till next year as there's plenty going on including a new baby!!So called richard at Dulfords and gave him the bad news:[ . That was untill last week when i found myself surfing through the classifieds and came across WILLTVR's 4L T350C with str8six re-build and and pratically every other up-grade you could want to take your car on the track. Well after a few phone calls and the small obstacle of the car being at the other end of Scotland she's now parked in the garage waiting for Spa and the Griff to come home[pinch me i think i'm dreaming].
Big thanks to Ian for building an absolute peach of a car!, I'd always had an itch to scratch when it came to the T cars and the speed six, but had always been put of by the fear of engine re-build etc, but after driving the car in anger twice know all i have to say is Wow and bring on Spa, once i'd got used to the different engine characteristics etc what a superb handling car whith just the right bits breathed on, it's not often you buy a car and park it thinking I don't need to do a thing[well except take the Scottish Flag of the back lol], even a spare set of SP12's and 888.
One little problem is the drivers seat is a carbon Cobra ImolaS which with me being a bit of a short arse is around two inches to short, i know you can move the pedal box forward but i'd also like to bring the seat forward a touch, only problem is you cannot re-drill the seat so need to get some kind of ally bracket made up to move the seating position forward as its a fixed mount.
Any one got any suggestions on who could turn this round by Spa weekend[1st Oct]i'm in the Surrey area. Thanks

Totally agree, was driving it at first thinking where's the grunt, but once you keep the revs up the car takes of, I'm loving the red rose spec engine and 3.73 diff which give the car a very differant feel to the only other T350 i've driven. I'm going to try and get onto Cadwell on the 26th to get some miles under my belt before Spa are you going?
