Buying my first nice watch

Im in the market to buy my first expensive watch and I have fallen for the Omega PO.
I have a budget of around £1700 to spend and dont mind if the watch is 2nd hand as long as it comes from a pukka source.
I was looking at this site http://www.chrono24.com/en/home/index.htm and saw a couple of candidates but they have since sold.
The watch is my engagement prezzy from my SWMBO and will be a keeper. Can you suggest other places that I might find one of these watch's within budget
edited to say would like braclet strap and a large face maybe 45mm as i have large hands/wrists so small watchs look daft on me.
