I've been making enquiries to buy either 657S, 757S or 857S on silicon strap and finding it hard to locate them. Are they still in production?

Chronomaster - 2 emails sent over a week period and no reply. (Only heard good things so surprised by this.)

Jura - only 857S bracelet in stock and high prices.

Sinnwatches.com (Europe) - not in stock

Any other places/dealers I can try?

My alternative choice is a Damasko DA46 Black (if they are available at least).

You've already quoted the only places that I'm aware of for new watches so can't help much there. I'd hang out for a reply from Chronomaster personally, and have you contacted Jura about their price? There should be a bit of movement in there and there's a good chance that they could order the strap in as well. I know that Sinn have/are in the process of discontinuing some models and introducing new ones but I'm not sure on the details, have you emailed Sinn themselves? Great watches by the way, I've a 757 myself.

Cardshark, thanks, I'll perservere some more but Time Factors responding to my enquiry promptly is definitely swinging things the Damasko way just now, even though I prefer the Sinn face. Perhaps I'll just look out for a used Sinn in future, if no further forward on a new one by next week.

757 is a great choice and was my no1 pick too bar some hesitation over the thickness at 15mm. How do you find it in this regard?

It is a little tall, the movement inside it accounts for that, though I personally wouldn't say that the watch looks out of proportion and regardless or whether I'm wearing it on a bracelet or strap I don't find that the weight of the watch makes it try to turn itself around the wrist, though that may be more to do with how tight I like to wear them. I've just had a quick measure and I make it closer to 14mm which, when compared with the stats given in the TF site, makes it only a mil and a half or so taller than a DA46. It may be a bit tight under a shirt cuff but then it's not really that kind of watch and I rarely have the need to wear such a shirt anyway, all in I don't find the case height an issue at all.
Sinn and Domasko have a very simular ethos, I'm sure that whatever you go for will prove to be great piece, the 46 also looks very cool with the black face and yellow seconds hand!

The 757 is a little tall so I wouldn't wear it under a shirt cuff:

There is a comparative review here which may help:

I think the Damasko case is only about 12mm in height, which is better for wearing under the old cuff. However, what's availability like on Damaskos these days?

No problems at all since they actually started making watches again a couple of years ago.

Suggest the seller also posts it for sale elsewhere (PH?) so it can be viewed by more than the favoured few.
