Pinched this from the PH horrors thread, but felt it was worthy of it's own.

I don't think I have ever seen so much effort put into the ebay advert for something so poor.

For those of you who don't visit the horrors thread, hope you enjoy, I'm still wiping tears from my eyes.

The additional (to the Nova GTE one) rear spoiler is adapted from a Volvo 360 and this coupled with the front wing I’ve added has contributed to a noticeable improvement in stability during high speed corners. Aerodynamics is a fine art and difficult to make assumptions about, particularly on the uneven terrain of UK roads, I admit I was simply lucky these made an improvement.

I like the clever use of what looks to be quilted bed pillows on the drivers seat. I'm sure he'd have got more selling these separately with the matching spiderman duvet cover.

The car has also been extensively lightened and balanced (you can lift the back up by the wheel!)
I bet that's *exciting* under braking. "Perfect 80/20 weight distribution"

In fairness to the seller, that's a mile beyond the normal half arsed and half witted molestations most barry cars get. Cosmetic work not to PH tastes maybe, but he's done some sensible engine work and paid some attention to suspension geometry when lowering. Brake upgrades too!

Is that a doorbell where you'd expect to find a centre console? Is that the push button start the owner speaks about?

I know, that's what made it stand out so much. Mechanically it sounds like he has put quite a bit of good work into it, but everything else...

Suprised no-one has mentioned the interior "safe" or "doorbell push button starter" yet.

And the exit intended for the cabin has been ducted (the big silver tube) back out into the side of the engine bay. This means that when waiting in hot traffic you can set the air to flow through this route on the hot setting, effectively utilizing the heater matrix as an extra mini radiator to assist the main radiator and fan.

Isn't this a solution to a problem that should never have existed in the first place?

Strange thing is, he sounds fairly intelligent and the description is actually reasonably well written compared to most heaps like that.
