S1 replacement bucket seats

Hi has anyone replaced the seats in an S Series with new ones, pref buckets that keep with car?

Not sure what seats are like in an S1, original vynal seats in my S3 were a bit ordinary but the Leather replacements I bought are more sporty style (later S3?).

Fancy something like this for the Taimar one day

Not exactly bucket seats but I am currently trying to fettle some JAG did seats in to my s1 . Guess that really is no help to you at all

They Seem o.k. but are the walls a bit high? I looked at the Targa from Corbeau but I don't think they would really go.

I fancied som cobra imolas in mine but actually have some mx5 leather ones I should fit...

I've got a Sparco Cobra in mine. It was the lowest seat I could find, and also has a steel frame, base plate and back plate so no worries about the integrity of a composite seat after it's been bashed a few times. It came with 'fake leather' vinyl as a no-cost option. Although they couldn't match the original cream leather, I got it in off-white and then used vinylkote to match the colours. When it was new, I thought it looked quite smart. A hundred and fifty thousand miles (and hundreds of track days and sprints and so on) later, it's looking distinctly tired.
