Z3 Roadster - How much for a hardtop

I am considering buying a 2000 Z3 roadster. It has a hardtop. I need to factor in the value of the hardtop in my negotiation. Anyone know how much they were new or what they sell for used? I'd quite like a Z3 with a hardtop but it's not crucial.

Look on eBay to get an idea of prices. You can search for completed listings to see what they have been selling for. (They do get stolen so bear that in mind - ideally I'd want to see some sort of proof the seller owns the item).

Prices are slightly higher in winter and lower in summer. Colour also affects value, depending on how rare/popular it is.

Also bear in mind they are quite a hassle to store unless you have a garage/large shed.

Assume it's the oem hardtop..... the Wiessman and Hamann ones are rather pricey.....
