Hi All,

I just reluctantly joined twitter for work reasons, but I hear its very good for up-to-date gossip on F1 races.

I found a pretty comprehensive list and added the obvious drivers/teams etc.

Any pundits you recommend?

I wouldn't bother with teams/drivers/etc - mostly dull marketing/promo bks.

@grandprixdiary is worth a follow. @petebonics is an absolute F1 GENIUS. Witty, incisive, pithy and in no way at all me.

@MBrundleF1 is good and so is @sniffpetrol.

Jenson Button's one seems the most natural and genuine of any, I think.

Heikki Kovalinen is a good one to follow. He gives a good insight into what the drivers get upto over a weekend and when they're not racing.

Jenson Button is good for a similar reason.

MBrundleF1 - Martin Brundle as you may guess. He answers a lot of fan questions and updates on upcoming BBC features.

Jake Humphrey - same sort of content as Martin Brundle and some behind the scenes stuff

All mentioned in the posts above are worth a view also.

The F1 fakes are funny on a race weekend, but some of them do post a load of waffle during the week too! There are loads but my top ones are:

@fakestefano
@thefakefia
@Fakemarkwebbah
@fakehelmutM
@fakefernando
@charlie_whiting
@fakebernie
@fakewhitmarsh (my personal favourite!)
@EmperorJean
@FakeDomenicali

A couple more worth mentioning:

@MikeGascoyne - usually tweets some interesting updates from Team Lotus throughout races

@ScarbsF1 - highly recommended for all things technical

@ScarbsF1: best F1 twitter feed by miles. Nothing WRT the races themselves, but a downright raunchy amount of technical stuff. Utter filth. Brilliant.
