Look what I found in my airbox!

Car was running a bit rough at the top end so decided to change filters and clean the MAF sensor.
Opened the airbox and found this, perfectly dried out!
What's the weirdest thing anyone has found living/dead in their car?

I once found a dead bird in the fairing of my motorcycle but that beats my story. That must be one good induction system. What car do you drive?

I wa sonce called to a garageto investigate a customers car that was not running very well under load.

Once we had removed the carried bag load of dog biscuits from the air filter it went a lot better.

I remember a story about a Peugeot 205 T16 back in the days of Group B rallying getting back to service after a stage and finding 3 fingers from a spectators hand stuck arounf the front grill/headlight.

If you watch how close the nutters used to get it's hardly a suprise.

Over here, if you kill a great crested newt without having first made reasonable checks that none are present, (forgetting the fact there are more of the little fkers than earthworms) then you could get slapped with a £10k fine...

However, once dead, if you cut the crest off with a pair of scissors, then no evidence = no crime.

Ah, I see.
Its ok, here we don't have ANY laws (I jest, none are enforced), let alone ones protecting little animals (please see our prime minister for a classic example of how society rewards criminals).

Would have been more impressed if you lived in slough and sucked up that little critter :P

Not myself, but a family friends cats lost a leg, they found it a few weeks later in the engine bay, seems the poor cat was in the engine bay when they went to go out one day, and it didnt get out in time. It did live for a long time after but got itself a new name "Pod" (as in tripod, think it was call Mr Flufy bks or some ste before)
