The mounting points of my TR rollbar are worrying me a touch. Since I don't run a roof I was thinking of fitting a full cage.

Can't afford the safety devices one at nearly 1K. Doesn't seem to be anything else available for a MK1. Luke Bird told me a mate of his was going to fit this Mk2 model in his MK1. £500.

Is there much difference between a Mk1 and a Mk2 floorplan and interior dimensions?

Just checked it out, Cheers for the heads up.

The design looks a bit strange compared to the OMP one. I'm going to see if Tim has a pic of one fitted.

What's the consensus on these? Newish product?

Old thread I know, but Id advise that anyone considering an OMP cage asks a lot of quastions about the cages finish and how much fabrication is required.

Compared to an SD cage OMPs look like a selection of unpainted bent tubes. You usually have to do a lot of fabrication (making mounting box sections etc) in order to fit them.

Safety Devices and similar cages will need the reinforcing plates welding in and thats it... TRLane cages dont require that as far as Im aware, but theyre not quite the same thing.
