Just out of interest, I fancy doin a survey to find out how many miles people travelled to this years fest, there and back. Also I was going to do a location map as to where wedgers are from. Not street names and numbers of course but general area using postcode. So hopefully lots of replies. If you didn't go to the fest, then just name and postcode. Please copy n paste list in previous post into yours.

I'll start----already edited thanks TD

Only attended once, not this year but in 2004, from Belgium (via Wales biggrin). And the guys from Holland (some will remember and there are photos to prove this.....) have visited a few times as well. Probably about the same mileage if you come down from Scotland.
Interested in coming over next year and would not mind it being more up north as don't mind the miles (the more adds only to the fun).

AQ CB22 postcode - around 99 miles.

The Dutch usually take the Hoek van Holland ferry I think, which deposits them in Harwich - 50 miles in Holland and 60 miles on top of my journey.

From NR9 325mile round trip (plus the odd trips into business parks following Jim)
I guess that Kelvin and Jim travel very similar distances.

330 for me as I went and met Jim near Scole, If I had gone direct and picked up your route, at the Lotus Junction 320 miles (NR15)

I did more than that as I went home via lots of places smile

From CM11 270 miles round trip.

Well actually 270 miles on the towcar.

And about 20 yards on the SEAC being winched on and off the trailer! Still that's the furthest it's travelled for many years...

I unfortunately couldn't make this years wedge fest in the end. But as I have been to some of the previous ones at Ettington, I thought that I would add my info:

CT17 (Dover) - 178 miles each way = 356 mile round trip.
