NHRA 2012 - Which mid year event?

I am planning to take a holiday in Canada and the US at some point between June-August next year, most likely basing around the North East of the US and really want to take in an NHRA event. Has anyone got any guidance or advice on this, which are the good events, what do I need regarding tickets etc?

You'll notice that, after Norwalk, Ohio (5-8 July) the tour heads west until end-August-start-September, the US Nationals at Indy.
