An employer giving 2 weeks notice of a permanent increase of your hours which you are just expected to accept (already work 45 hours a week, 40 of them paid)

Incorrigible

Probably not, but I think it would depend on your contract

I'm not an expert BTW

You currently work 45 hours a week, and are paid for 40

What is the increase? If they increase your paid hours to 45, will you have to do 50 hours?

It itsn't mentioned in the contract, it's only a couple of hours but still a piss take, especially for no extra pay.

An hour off a day for lunch and breaks unpaid... however I am expected to work through them regularly.

Looking at it another way, they have effectively cut your pay.

Check your contract, and see if there is a 'contracted hours' clause (or similar).

Will do.
