Was it this one i found on Autotrader?

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2011...

Rang about it but its sold ,there have been one or two for sale on here but only 1 Tuscan challenge at present on Pistonheads.
Any other good websites to find one for sale?

Are you sure you don't want a really good championship winning Class C Tasmin wink

If it's your first season racing you'll do much worse than a good Class C Tasmin to learn the ropes, if I'm brutally honest it's the route I should have taken.

Gutted. I wish Paul had called me. I went to see this car last year, but he wouldn't budge on £28,000 !!!!
I wonder who got it. Lucky blighter! The best kept Tuscan race car I've ever seen (and a 2-seater). Gutted, gutted, gutted.weeping

Dont hate me Mark , but i've been after it for years boxedin
Been spanner checking and polished, fitted it's spare set of wheels , and gone for a 50'S Le Mans Jag/Aston race look with the number roundels.

That's about it up to now - almost too mint to race , but i think at least one round of DTEC is in order next year biggrin

Some pics folks..

IIRC JR dumped that in the gravel at the bottom of Cascades in 2006 so more than capable of being raced.
PS I'm as green as the paint work with envy!

Thanks Chaps.
Just need to finish refurbing a set of the polished O.Z with BRG centres and the car will be complete.
Your car's looking stunning btw Michael.

You're a very, VERY lucky boy Darren. I must say, she's had a good lick of wax since I last saw her and the cosmetic improvements you've done make her look stunning. Cheeky I know, but is the above rumoured asking/selling price anywhere near the truth? PM me if you feel like confessing (the guilt of your sin might be too much for your conscience to bear angel ). Enjoy her mate and hope to see you out there soon, as I may well have found an alternate, just as special wink

Hi Mark,

Thanks, it is a lovely car as you know - and well worth the money (somewhere between the figures quoted) especially since it's been on my radar since JR took it to the Back Home TVRCC Sprint in 2005.

Interesting facts..
My first ever race in 2006 was also the only time this car has been raced (by John).
I've had the old race harness from this car for a few years.
The hard top was taken from a mould of the modified roof on the purple car.

So really it was fate that i aquired the 2 seater..

Well that's my excuse and im sticking to it - and i've not even started the evening's drinking yet hehe.

BTW, the Alternative car you've mentioned is rather special cloud9
