I finally have the chance to drive a (fairly) decent car and a whole Saturday free to take it where I want!

I live near Leeds, but I have no idea which roads are actually good driving roads in the area!

I suppose this is the best place to find out, so if anyone has any favourites (probably the Peak District or Yorkshire Dales/Moors) where scameras are not out in force, then I would like to hear from you!!!

Roll on good roads and good weather for Saturday!!!

How far away from home do you want to go? Are you looking for a full day of 'B' road hooning or something else?

If you're looking for a full days hooning I've recently enjoyed 'tootling' around the Peak District. Oh and it must be worth pointing out that North Yorks is currently scamera free, from Wakefield you can be in 'God's Own' in about 45 mins.

Just a thought, you may want to ask one of the Mods to move this to the Yorkshire Forum. I'm sure you'll get a great response over there, I'm not sure the Yorks gang look at the 'roads' forum.
