Occasionally i get a message flash up on my TV that there are updates to the digital service. I did one yesterday, and now i appear to have lost BBC.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas how i can get BBC2 back?

How is your service delivered? Satellite? Freeview? Sky? Virgin? Cable etc?

Retune your tv/ freeview box.

The service is provided through freeveiw which is built into the TV. The signal comes through a cummunal ariel (live in a small block of flats).

I'll try retuning.

Retuning is worth a try, I used to use a communial aerial and at peak times of the day, usually early evening, Ch4, E4 etc would get quite poor reception and break up.

If I tried to retune then, I would lose them altogether, but if I tried again at a 'quieter' time, I would get them back again.
