The Berger Hem6 shunt at last GW revival . . . shocking and the reason it was missed this weekend.

Let's kick off with the Masters Sports Cars Qually:

Jacob Lola T210 #67, as above.

Hancock T212 kicked @ss with a cracking 2:34 secs.

Constructed in 1971, the Lola T212 was designed for 2-liter sports car, group 6 competition. FVC Ford Cosworth 1.8 in.

Chevron B16 batmobile.

Favourite Osella Abarth PA1: quicker than a lot of V8 machinerie!

More Macca:

Proud owner Peter Schleifer ready to line up for qually.

Pretty much my dream car: superb lined body and a hammering V8.
More on the M6GT here: http://www.mathewscollection.com/mclaren/McLaren_M...

Peter Schleifers '72 Lola T310 is a one off 494 Cid of thunder: 1.05 bhp / kg, 740 bhp @ 6400 rpm, 888 Nm / 655 ft lbs @ 5600 rpm. Proper Beng!
Peter lifted the clutch and spun without pressing the loud pedal: much to the crowds surprise!

A nice 2:34 for this T70 coupe.

Tandy Lola awesomeness.

Harry Read big banger McLaren M8C

Mussa M1B Macca.

More . . . from the wall.

if anyonehas any of our little TVR Grantura pre expiration, it would be great. pale blue, number 25. We started 9th in class and 67th overall and were running as high as 2nd in class and 18th overall when we lost our water and threw a belt with an hour to go. Shame - but a great experience nonetheless.

Great stuff Dinkel. I was amazed there seemed to be no pit-lane restrictions, fantastic opportunity for pictures! Will post some of mine tonight hopefully.

Sorry to hear this guys, I was really hoping you would do well as I saw what happened to the orange TVR, just in front of me. No pictures though but will ask around.

By the way, the blue light in the car makes you look like a police car, I am quite sure I saw a few other cars move over instinctively as you came closer. :-)

I was there a press photographer. Some guys know me for my photography work during the CCCUK Nationals.

It was a great edition this year. The six hours race was great with the Corvettes, Mustangs, Cobra's, etc.

Here some shots:

I've made small album and update it regularly: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonny-bens/sets/72157...

This is just a quick 'thank-you' to the PH staff & event organisers of Saturday's 6 hour classic endurance at Spa Francorchamps, for arranging the PH discount and hospitality - had a fantastic time there thumbup

Here's a few highlights from my photographic spoils; I was especially excited to get into the pitlane which was a first-time opportunity for me.
