Just exactly who do the russians think they are fooling with this crap. China has more of a democracy than this lot and I am serious about that.

Over the past 12 years where Putin has been in charge, how has Russia faired compared to the global economies?

I think it would be fair to say, Russia has a 'unique' way of conducting business. I don't know how the country as a whole gets on, but Putin is very, very rich. (As in, give me a few hundred milion or I'll send in the heavies and close you down)

Putin is barmy isn't it?

Just read up on him a bit, Judo blackbelt, he shot a tiger and he's a Hell's Angel, nickname is Abbadon.

Britain could do with a cool PM like that.

They love Putin here, Medvedev is seen as a bit of a wimp and and a puppet of Putin anyway.

In all areas of life (especially things like business, politics and defence) the Russians only understand one thing - strength. If you and are big and strong and they know you are capable of giving them a bloody nose, they will leave you be. This was apparent during the Cold War, they knew the West was strong then and never pushed too hard.

Today however, the Russians see the West as weak and docile, they do what they want because they know they can get away with zero repercussions from us.

A fine example is the riots in the UK not so long ago, the things being said about the UK in the local news was pretty interesting, especially as here they would just shoot the rioters.

I like Putin, we would do well to have a proper leader in the UK, one who doesn't mess about, is handy with a gun, can kick some arse and is proud of his nation. He makes 'Call me Dave' Cameron and his posse look like a bunch of pussies and a complete waste of oxygen.
