This is prompted by a comment made in another thread, so I'm now wondering how far my £300 budget can stretch. It's more of a hypothetical topic at the moment but if something comes up that takes my fancy, then who knows?

Criteria;

1/. £300-£350 absolute maximum budget. Not a penny more.
2/. Must be an automatic diver's watch.
3/. It would be nice to wear a piece of real quality, ideally swiss for a change.

Bonus points for actual watches for sale but its not essential although piccies to tempt me would be nice biggrin

Have a flick through this - http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/diver-watch.html

Here's my GMT -

Is this thread going to generate as much interest as your Monster one? biggrin

ETA Just twigged that you're looking for pre-owned.... Still, some of the more expensive models are known to come up once in a while!

I want a Steinhart Ocean 1 but for the purpose of this thread, I'd like to see how much watch I can get, used.

The Monster thread turned out to be a bit of a hit didn't it! hehe I can only hope this one will prove as useful.

Seiko Sumo would be a great choice:

Or you could look at a Benarus Moray or Remora. Lots of choice out there.

I'd like a Swiss because I've already got two Japanese watches.

I can't view the link but it sounds promising. Any further info?

Here is the version I had. If you don;t like the orange ring around the inside ( I did) they do one without.
