Kop Hill Climb today - some pics
Discussion
My wife surprised me with this event so we got there mid day on Saturday. Yep, just like a mini Goodwood and very well priced entry fee. That Ferrari estate was really, really ugly. I'm not sure about my favourite car of the day. I liked the cobra with the hardtop, the XK 120 and e-types and the old 635csi. The 3bhp motorbike that couldn't make it up the hill and had to turn around

A definite one for me to revisit next year.

Wow, and double wow - what a car! What it must be like to get up on a weekend and roll that out of the garage - great choice and colour, looked very tidy indeed. You have a good wife to take you to this show, we went for the two days and had a great time.

As well as my wifes suggestion to visit the event, the Countach was also her favourite car there - shame we didn't meet you. We've got an old picture of her when she was a teenager stood next to a Countach in Monaco. We are going to put both pictures together

Yes, it's great to take the car out and see people enjoy looking at her. The visitors at this show are a great bunch and they respect cars on exhibition.
We shall be there next year all being well, so if you are there hope to show you more of the car.
Great idea of having two photo's of your wife and a Countach spaced a few years apart.
Cheers.

I will try and remember to put this event in my diary for next year and hopefully meet you and have a closer look at your Lambo Yes, it's great to take the car out and see people enjoy looking at her. The visitors at this show are a great bunch and they respect cars on exhibition.

Here are a couple of pics taken at Goodwood FOS this year where there was a very nice orange Countach - not sure if you have seen this one before on your travels?
Looks like a collectors item that might not see much action on UK roads (hi-res so not embedded in forum):

I took a video going up the hill.

You cant really get an idea of how steep it is.
