What to do with an old sofa in Thame?

Hello all, we have an old sofa we need to dispose of as we're moving soon & the place we bought has one in already.
What's the best thing to do with it other than paying South Oxon council £25 to pick it up.
BTW it's an old sofa that's sunk nearly to the bottom so you wouldn't want it!

Obvious, chuck it in a lay by...or entrance to farmers field. Or as I did ring a few chaaaaarrrity shops, they collect if its a certain size. And give it to people who need it.

Yeah right!
When my mother went into a home I hired a van and took her sofas and wall units around some charity shops. All the furniture was as new and didn't look like it had been used... To cut a long story short, I ended up taking it to the tip where I had to throw it all away. Ended up out of pocket and with a pulled muscle in my back as I'd had to do it all myself!

Easiest way is to leave it in the driveway (if you have one) and let the DAYLs do their thing!

Dono where you live but this place (below) give them to people that need them, or sell them off cheap. Although when we got rid of ours they weren't open so we ended up taking our to the tip!

Try dumping it in one of our fields and you'll get an arse full of shotgun lead. And I'm not that great a shot

Why turn into one of the DAYL ? Are we not better than that ?

Find the nearest Pie Key site and just dump it right in their access at about 3am
with the rest of the trash and any other unwanted tyres, junk or builders waste you can find

The pikies have been around Bicester for a few weeks now I'm sure you could find them and leave it with them!

Freecycle, someone will most likely bite your arm off and pick it up as long as it's not really horrible. Even with less than 24hours notice we managed to get rid of some stuff from a storage place!

Leave it outside your house with 'For sale £100' on it. Some bugger will nick it overnight!
