Car will reach "total loss" status tomorrow.

As a word of warning to anyone out there who had a decent value car i was invited to a teleconference
with the insurance compnay and DVLA. The purpose of the call was for DVLA to confirm the staus of my licence especially with regards to any endorsements. I believe that had the two not matched up ie ( DVLA for example saying i had 6 points and me declaring to the insurers i had none that the claim would have fallen down at that point.
You have been warned !

Sorry to hear about the theft, the teleconference with the DVLA is pretty standard practice now in the event of a claim. Suppose it sorts out the ones who have been economical with the truth.

Not heard of that happening before. Sounds like the insurance were hoping for a 'get out' there and thankfully failed due to you being honest etc. Serious business. Also, sorry to hear about your car. Hopefully the insurance wont mess you about too much.
