The Kings Arms in East Stour, Dorset is holding an "informal open classic and interesting car meet" from 11.00 on Sun 20 June. Free for all, just usual pub prices for beer and food. Last year there were about 60 cars in the "classics" park, from modern TVR and Lotus back to cars from the '30s, and an interesting range of everything between. Plenty of parking for those who turn up in ordinary cars - they have borrowed an extra field this year!

Food is just basic bar snacks, cow in a bun etc., plus a basic bbq if the weather is kind. There is also a small restaurant which must be booked in advance though.

Kings Arms is a rural "free house" on the A30, 3 miles west of Shafetsbury.

I can get parking reserved until Fri 18th, so if you are definately coming let me know by then and we can get the "speed matters" group together. There will be space to just turn up on the day, however.

For anyone who fancies a little convoy-ette, I will be at the services on the rbt where the A36 meets the A350 at Warminster at 11.30, in order to squirt down to one of my favourite B-roads down to E Stour. All welcome to join me, or just see you there!

Right, I'm off to fit my new ACT bits, see you on the 20th! Good luck, Dean.

Only 2 miles down the road from me but will probably be going to Castle Combe to watch the Tuscans and GT cards race instead.

Were you the orange chim at the westover meet at compton abbas last year?
