Opinions please, just wondering if this would be worth doing.

Im going moving over to manchester in the next few months and was thinkin of bringing my m3 evo.
There not making good money here in Ireland anyway.
I dont want to sell it really so if theres no vat/vrt to bring it over with me ill do that.

It was originally a uk car so would i have to pay anything to put it back on uk plates?
Ive also read that it could be put back on Irish plates for no fee in the future.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

You just need to apply to re-register in the UK and then MOT it.

You're going to have to declare the car as exported I believe, otherwise there'd be questions over why there was a gap in VRT renewal.
I don't think there'd be any fee, not serious ones anyway, to re-register it again if/when you returned to the South.
Best getting it direct from the horse's mouth by asking your local VRT office or your equivalent to the Citizens' Advice Bureau.
