No, but would love to see a race series of these around towns/areas of the UK.

Always thought small scale racers like this would be brilliant razzing round the one way system of my hometown.

Tiny Monaco grand prix for the win.

The owner of the one I saw must be mad leaving it on a busy high street on a Saturday night

The owner lives/work there. You can spot it there very often.

This is interesting. But a word of caution. The car in the OP post is not and could not be driven on the UK roads legally. There are at least six obvious failures on registration requirements.

However it probably could be made legal with a bit of medium fettling.

Has anyone got a photo of a cart actually registered on a UK plate that is not very visibly illegal?

If so this would be very interesting and a real opportunity.

But does one actually exist registered within the construction and use regulations. That is the question.

If you are referring to the slide show on the website in the OP it is definitely NOT a UK legal car. Take this on the road and you would be pulled by the first traffic officer who sees it.

I have been building and registering road legal Kit Cars for 40 years.

It is not uncommon to see futuristic cars that are showing legal plates but do not actually comply with the regulations which is what I think is happening here.

I an not trying to be obstructive but there is no point kidding ourselves the construction and use regulations must be met and they are not in these photos.

If you can get some good clear accessible photos I will happily list the failures I can see. There may well be others not visible.

Why the hell would anyone want to take a go kart on an open road? That is asking to be run over at the first sign of traffic! I used to go karting a lot at uni, and once was on track (in a kart), following the track's owner (in his car), and the size of the car from that perspective was scary...

Good question. But the OP post says Street legal Go Karts.

And the website attached purports to show one.

It is not actually street legal hence my concern.

If there are any real ones I would be very interested indeed.

So what DOT legal tyres does this use ?

I presume it legal due to being in the underpowered/invalid carriage rules, whatever they are ?

Proscriptive? Thank you, I am 45 and have learned a new word. Seems to fit as well.

On the subject of other peoples posts, disabled regs allow 4mph and 8mph scooters.

I suspect it may do more than 8mph.

I saw the OP and told the missus I am getting one, no matter what. Seems not to be frown
