Hi All

I've been having an intermittent problem that has now become permanent.
My Griff won't rev past 4k?

She is as sweet as a nut getting there but it just feels like the rev limiter is kicking in early.
This has been happening since I had to move the fuse box to solve my lighting issue, I've checked and rechecked that all the wiring is back where it should be.
What's confusing me the most is the fact that the car is running perfectly until 4k?

Any help would be much appreciated.smile

had this, but at 5200. Also seen a few similar threads.

consensus was either collapsing main air intake (ribbed), though I don't think it's that at 4000rpm, or somewhere in the chain of leads, dizzy, rotor arm etc. I changed all of those and it was fine.

Sounds daft but have you dislodged the tune resistor from the wiring loom causing the ECU to go onto a default maybe Land Rover map that your motor dislikes, only mention this as you say this as been happening since delving into the foot-well area scratchchin if not I would still not dismiss a collapsing induction hose frown certainly worth an inspection wink

That sounds feasible!
Any hints where I will find it?
