Is this the best commute for a petrolhead?

I can actually take two pretty epic routes as well - the suggested route with the A6024 is pretty good as well.

Looks like there is plenty of extra motivation for early starts. Your bosses will think you dedicated to the job, whereas we know you will just be pining for open roads whilst everyone else is just getting up!

I did this http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=derby,+United+Ki... for a while which was pretty good - the section between Ashbourne and Buxton was very fast in those days (1980s / Sunbeam 1600Ti) but probably has a 40 limit and speed cameras now

Sleeping bag and shovel kept in the car though, just in case.
