I know it's awesome, and yes I'm willing to sell it, how does £10,000 sound?

Leave a note under the wipers? It's all I can think of, or maybe asking around and see if anyone knows.

Alternatively block it in with your car and sleep in it until the owner arrives, although that might not get you the best price.

Jump up and down on the bonnet till the alarm goes off, should grab their attention.

Got any mates in the Plod? They can do a plate check and find out, but i dont think its strictly legal going down that route.

Check out the forums related to that particular make/model if it's as "stand out" as you suggest there should be enough references to it, then pm the owner.

With reasonable cause, you can fill in a V888 and pay the DVLA a nominal fee (£2.50) which will get you the details of the registered keeper as per the V5. This isn't necessarily the owner, but it's a good place to start.

UPDATE smile

I found the car unusally in a carpark in a town nearby earlier today, left a note so hopefully a call some time soon, I couldnt believe my luck when I spotted it and the OH thinks im mad, a bit like a car park stalker as I drove past I screamed "There it is" and drove round again so i could stop.

Oh and when the guy calls with good or bad news ill let you all know.

Is there a way of getting them to forward on a letter to the RK of a car?
