The visit Ireland ads

[DanDC5]

I saw the new one of these, it may just be visit Belfast not Ireland, I can't remember, but the words used in the advert are 'visit the birthplace of one of Ireland's biggest film stars'

The film star they are referring to is, the Titanic!!! Now is it me, or is that one of the most disrespectful things ever!?

It's probably the most positive aspect of Belfast they can think of .

The important thing is that for the first time, Northern Ireland is seen as a tourist destination.

Another positive aspect of these campaigns is that they are joint campaigns between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
