Hi Guys,

In my dad's 4.2 Cerbera the lights for the hot and cold controls are permanently on so it is a pain to tell when they are on or off. The dealer said "they all do that" (surprise, surprise ). Just thought I'd check whether this was the case or not.

Also, apparently the air-con only seems to be working on the drivers side (???). Any ideas?

Thanks

Mike

The light are always on. To tell if the heater is on press the red backlit button turn dial, warm air from the vents=heat is on. Press the blue backlit button turn dial, cold air from the vents=cold air on. Press them to stop.

No aircon from one side - make sure the vents are open.

Not being sarcastic, it really is a simple as that.

If the aircon is still not working I can only suggest a blockage further down the pipes.

OK, cheers mate. That is what we have been doing up until now. It's just that the handbook says they light up when they are on!!

And I'll tell him to check the vents (it was my mum who was in the passenger seat that noticed it, so it is entirely possible )

Cheers

Possibly they light up even more when switched on, only really at night could you tell that. There's a test for you to do

Cheers mate. Think he's only been out in it once in the dark - very nice it looks too (inside). I'll tell him to check (actually, I'll offer to check for him )

Cheers

Darren, your memory of the inner workings of Cerbs is impeccable Are you sure you don't still have one tucked away somewhere?

See you at the LB meet on Monday? Perhaps you can tell me how quickly and at what heat my cigarette lighter optimally functions at
