Weak flushing toilet

Hi all,

I had to replace Toilet siphon/cistern syphon device over the weekend, my toilet has always had a weakish flush and not been able to clear all the waste, I was hoping after the syphon split completely replacing it with a new one would fix the issue but it remains the same,

is there anyway I can improve the way it flushes? the house was built in 1995 if it helps with anything?

this will be obvious but is the inlet valve/float set high enough to allow enough water in?

yep, its set at the level the siphon said to set it to, but like I say its always been weak,

Probably a 9 litre pan flushing with 6 litres.

I tried setting it to 9 litres and 6 litres and all that was different was the quanitity of water flowing not the force it was coming out,

maybe the toilet needs descalling where it jets down?

Let's not over look the obvious, it may just be a crap toilet!

Is it close coupled or low level with a flush pipe? Close coupled toilets never give a brilliant flush anyway. Doubt there is much you could do to improve it!

close coupled toilet, that sucks if I was to get a new toilet what one would you recommend?
