Hi everyone,

Well, its been 3 months - and she's back! All is wonderful but I think it's now time to sell, so I want to get it looking ship shape, I appreciate its all about condition so after lavishing my pennies on her, I now want to get all the little things sorted. Forgive me for being a bit of noob, but figure its better to ask the questions in one go. So - thanks in advance everyone. Appreciated.

Couple of things then:

1: the rubber inside the window frame where the glass sits has perished, I'd like to replace this, where can I find it, what should I be looking for and how difficult is it to fit?

2: badge is looking a bit tired, would like to replace this, I think silver with blue lines - thoughts? (I'll search eBay first). Assume its pretty straightforward to install?

3: again badge isnt looking too sexy, I'll just find another - any thoughts? (again, I'll search eBay first). Assume its pretty straightforward to install?

4: the biggy, dented the bumper, 80 quid and Chips Away will do a proper job I'm told - so I'll go for that, I've got the correct paint code for Halcyon Midas

5: velcro has come away on the hood, only on one side, I guess it just needs replacing and re-stitching

6: the plastic was vandalised, its about 5" long, currently with a bit of sellotape on it. I've a quote of 230.00+vat with 1 year guarantee to replace and fit the plastic screen. Any good? Wondering if insurance will cover. I've posted another thread about that.

I want to get all this done so that the next owner has, what is, a fantastic vehicle without any imperfections. Having spent a great deal on it over the past 6 months, I'm committed to getting these issues sorted so its immaculate inside, under bonnet and out.

UPDATE@27th September - someone reversed into the bumper and have smashed it in. I'm fully comp so I'm praying it'll get covered on the insurance.

Leven do a refurb service on the badges @ about £40 I am getting my chimaera one done. Suppose bear in mind you are unlikely to get your money back when you sell though the positive is it will help sell it. I spent a small fortune on my old 350z before I sold it but it didn't make any more than the normal examples it did though sell pretty quick where others were up for sale for ages
