Heads-up: Possible Aurora Tonight (Monday 26th Sept)

From the data I can see, it looks like there may be an aurora visible tonight. Particularly if you are in Northern Scotland.

Ahh, yes. Squiggly line is above flat line. All is good .

Shame it's cloudy where I am in Lancs.

Well, when the Aurorawatch UK one goes dark orange or red, look outside and to the North. Around midnight is most likely, but I suppose it can be any time really.

If you look at the NOAA one, we are most likely to see something if/when the orange part of the oval covers the part of the UK where you are.

A (very) vague hint of green visible here in the north east, although if you didn't know what it was I don't think you'd really notice it!

Seems to come and go too, hoping the clouds may clear a little further north than they are now to give a better view.
