made a mistake on NIP

I have recently sent back my NIP for gettin flashed by a speed camera.

However, I have since realised that I have filled in the form incorrectly, i have since realised that it was in fact me driving, however i nominated someone else.

Can i ask for the form back and re-send it? Is that possible or will they prosecute me for wrongly accusing someone of driving my car.

I only sent the form back last week.

What should i do? Any suggestions?

Write to them, immediately, pointing out your error ( if you have a 'phone number, phone them too, but also follow up with the letter).
Had you done so late in the process, it might be seen as a 'dodge' to frustrate the prosecution. However, at this early stage, that should not be a problem.

Thanks Jeff,

I just called the camera office and they are sending out new forms.

Didn't even need to send the letter I had already written.

They hadn't even received my form yet.
