anyone had any dealings with HFC PPI payouts?
Discussion
I have recently had confirmation of a PPI payout from HFC bank after I had some loans with them in the past. How long should I realistically expect to wait for the funds after accepting the offer? I have signed the offer acceptance form, and had it royal mail special delivery sent to them so I could track it.
They will be paying the amount directly into my bank account, but how long should it take?
I doont want to phone them to chase them up about it incase it takes a little while to process

1 week, 2 tops I think.
Fraid' not Rog!Officially the FOS allow them "up to 8 weeks" to process payment from the date they receive your signed offer, but I think HFC are taking around 4-6 weeks
To get some straw poll info on it go the Martin Lewis site and look at the "PPI Success and Failure" sub forum to see what timelines others are experiencing
They (and just about every other bank) are claiming that the massive amount of people they are paying out has caused backlogs (that and the fact they kept people on hold during the Judicial Review and of course had plenty of time then to get systems in place)
