Academic question

Hello, i graduated with a degree in computing science 3 years ago. Since then i have been working in a warehouse for a online retailer. I have spoke to the college and i can do a HNC in Web development. I would like to do this as it would give me 9 months to really hit the books and study and create a portfolio of websites i could show to potential employers. Would going back to college to refresh my skills be seen as a bad thing on the CV

Not usually. If you can afford a further stint of education and as long as you have a relevant job during the course so you can rack up additional experience then it should be a good thing. Trick is to ensure you're heading to that part of the sector that is in short supply. If you're training to do what everyone else can then it may not be such a wise move.
