I haven't on here for ages but I need a Surrey/Berkshire/Buckinghamshire based MG owners help.

The other half is a huge fan of MG Midgets and I'm looking to get a photo taken of a cream white or racing green midget (feel free to correct me on colour codes) against a great background of which I will get framed.

It's just that I need someone who owns a MG Midget and another person who's very good at photography.

I'd be really grateful for any offers of help, advice or any pointers.

I obviously wouldn't expect anyone to do this for free, so I'm sure payment could be sorted out for your services.

I'd suggest you also try asking on MG (owners clubs) forums and MG BBS

a word of warning about amateur (and some pro) photographers – lots think they know how to take a good shot but they simply don’t

with digital cameras it’s easy to take loads of shots and to zoom in and alter them later on the computer so get them to take dozens of shots and not too close so you can crop out the distracting bits in the back ground

in the very old days you’d take 36 shots to get one good one if you were lucky, bit easier now but you still need to have the eye for a good shot which no amount of digital equipment can give you

I've a green (its supposed to be brooklands green, but it comes up closer to BRG on most colour charts) midget, rubber bumper though. And I dable with photography.

Could probably do with taking some nice pictures of it as I'm planning on selling it, if I get arround to it in the near future you're welcome to take some copies, sendme your e-mail address and I'll foreward on the originals wehn I get arround to taking them (unless your in a hurry, in which case get someone else to do it as I'm notoriously laid back with timetables!)
