22nd June @ Bedford

If anyone is interested, there will be a Midsummer Classic & Sportscar Display on 22nd June 6-10pm @ Harper Square and St.Pauls Square in Bedford.

I went last year and there was a good turn as it was the first year.

It's organised by the Porsche Club.
Last year there where loads of Porsches, Ferrari's, TVR's, Lotus's, Austin Martin's and varies other old classic cars.

I'm going in convoy with a Countach that's if it's dry!

Hi Condor, I'm exhibiting my car and have no idea where I'm going to be located. My car bonnet is usually open if I'm around.

Change of plan...........probably going over in friends Countach as the weather is going to close in later. I'll be the sad one cleaning it!

I'm taking a couple hours off work this evening - so should be around 7pm-8.30pm ...shame to miss your car - it hardly ever rains in Bedford

Except on Tuesdays and on the 2nd of the month

Boolox, forgot all about this untill when out see to Griffs, one (plasticmans i think with the Tuscan front)

It wasn't raining at 7pm ....loads of cars there
I think I counted 18 different TVRs all grouped to-gether...and chatted to a guy that owned a 30 year old one. Only saw one pistonhead sticker...but couldn't find the owner of it.

Fraid I couldn't find you either Mr Sheen. I did look

Really good turn out...very impressive ...and all those Police about noone was going to misbehave.
...shame about the rain that came later though.

didn't get chance to read this thread yesterday so didn't see who was in what car...

did see a few PH TVR's... and saw the Countach but obviously didn't say hi!!!

unfortuantly it started to rain as i got there so alot of people left but still worth driving into town for, and was followed out to Turvey by a PH Tuscan...

Not to worry Condor, possible catch up with you at some other events, if not next year at Bedford.

I think my next event in Kimbolton on July 18th, thats a good event - run by Sporting Bears

hello chaps, Why did no one let me know about bedford. I live reasonably close and would have loved to have gone. I know i should look on the events page but i didnt. Was it any good....or did the rain put people off.
