Another Annoying Electrical Problem

My Griffith has been running better than it ever has before, after a new set of plug leads and a new engine run relay. However, when I checked the battery the other day, with the car running (to test the charge voltage), the car 'coughed' a couple of times, and then cut out. If I moved the wiring loom about, occasionally I heard the relays click. Obviously a loose connection somewhere, but is there anywhere in particular I should look?
The most annoying thing is that the car starts and runs, but when I'm accelerating, it starts to cough and misfire between 3000 and 4000rpm.
If anybody has any ideas or advice for a cure, it would be much appreciated.

Sounds similar to a problem I had recently. On my car the fuse for the fuel relay was connected straight into two female blade connectors (not sure if it left the factory like this) on part of the wiring loom in the passenger foot well.
The movement had cracked the top of the fuse leg and it was making and braking contact when moved causing the fuel pump to cut in and out. I connected a fuse holder to the blade conectors, replaced the fuse and have had no more problems.

I've seen two fuses floating about in the footwell (1 yellow and one red I think, but I can't remember). They are blade fuses. Are these the ones I should be looking for? How can I tell the difference between the engine run relay, and the fuel pump relay?

Yep that sounds like them, the fuel pump is the yellow one, not sure what the other one is but I've put a fuse holder on to both and strapped them together with ties. I could hear the fuel pump relay clicking when I moved the fuse legs, its also in the cluster of cables that fall out of the rear of the glove box.
