With the economy on the brink of another meltdown, lets not kid ourselves about it, car prices are likely to be hit very hard again in the short term.

So lets see your 'any value / any age' recession purchase bargain - just want to see the car and the knock down bargain price paid!

I bought 2, one was a Cayman S with pretty much every option from the factory and 6k miles for £24k, sold it for a little over £28k 8 months later; then bought a 360 Spider for £46k and sold that for £51k another 8 months later.

Looking forward to more bargains in the future!

How about a £9000 Porsche Cayenne. Those have lots a whole heap of cash and in a recession will be selling very slowly indeed.

to be fair mate, the CL600 was around that much in 2007 when I was dreaming. They actually went up in price a few years ago and are now falling like a rock!

Surely the 645Ci is a bargain? Can be had for less than 10k...

In 2007 it would have been a N/a cl600 pre 2004 you would have seen for that money if it was legit and had decent mileage.

Cl600 N/a pre 2004's have been stable but have dropped in the last year or so, not as much as the bi-turbos though.

Oddly, just looked at this and found myself liking it more than I probably should:
