Hydratrak diffs

I have just been speaking to a company regarding the diff in my Chim, and learned something which if not actually useful, may be of interest...
Apparently, the Hydratrak diffs have a teflon part within the internals, which was known to break down after a while - and allows cogs (technical term
) within the diff to move, giving a large amount of play...
So if you have a large (and by my experience, I mean "whopping") amount of play in your diff - there is a chance that it may be a Hydratrak in need of repair... (apparently the part is ~£20, so pretty cheap)
Anyway, thought it was quite interesting, as it seems that relatively little is known about the number of Hydratrak diffs that were fitted to these cars...
