A fairly recent (1996) firm making a range of watches using bought in movements (ETA Valjoux 7750, Unitas 6497 etc) and, I would suspect, industry suppliers like Fricker to produce cases and other parts.

As a brand, JE is not that well known in the UK but I believe the brand is featured in the 2011 Wristwatch Annual, so obviously making some headway in Europe. Info and other models on the website:

ETA Just checked my 2008 Wristwatch Annual and JE is featured there too.
